Strengthening Your Inner Man

But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way? (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭1-3‬ ESV)

God has delivered us to move forward. Not to return to what we were delivered from.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. How Do You Apply God's Word

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭17‬ ESV)

God is Strengthening us so that we would know God more. God is with you on the mountain top and in the valley. God has a plan for both the "good" things and the "bad."

Speak to your situation

And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.' (‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18-20‬ ESV)

David spoke to his situation

And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. (‭1 Samuel‬ ‭30‬:‭6‬ ESV)

David sang this in Psalms in the same situation.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! (‭Psalm‬ ‭34‬:‭7-8‬ ESV)

Stand strong and know that God can restore the things that have been destroyed. Even more so knowledge of God's love is of greater value than everything.
