I most certainly did not step in to complete a demo that my team was doing only to use the wrong application link and not be able to show the expected functionality. My boss and her bosses were not at the same demo.

I am definitely not praying for some alone time with my awesome wife tonight. My prayer life, like any Godly Man, is all about the lofty things. I would never make these types of petitions known to the Lord.

Until Tomorrow

So here we are in the home stretch. One more week to go and you will have conquered your goal over the last 30 days. I am proud of all of you. Since it is Monday that means that I must once more give into my Not Me Addiction. McMama hosts this great blog carnival. I have found this helpful to me to get some of the stuff out of my mind. Thanks to Marlen(Momo) for getting me hooked on all of the Not Me fun. So here is what I didn't do last week.

• I didn't get frustrated with my beautiful bride when she made the awesome decision to override me on the Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Cake Maker. Since this never happens I couldn't have gotten frustrated.* It also didn't result in a complete meltdown by Fish Stick. That would never happen becuase she handles disappointment with poise and grace. Just like every other 5 year old.
• I didn't try to conduct my personality and spirtual gifts test class without all of my printouts. This didn't happen because I am always prepared because I always give Judy plenty of notice about who will be in class.
• I am not in total Vacation mode even though I am sitting at work. Our vacation doesn't start until Wednesday so I am totally focused on what I am doing.
• I did not try to arrange a job interview in TX during our trip just to see if that door was still open. I love paying 3x more for housing. I do! Really...
• I am really excited about moving... AGAIN. My landlord is doing me a big favor by annoucing that he needs to seel his house for Top Dollar in this Economy.
• I am ready for the 30 Day Trial Challenge to be over. I have learned all that there is to learn. Time to move on to the next thing. ;)Well that is enough. Hopefully I will put up some of the pictures of the Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Maker Action Shots later.

Go Go Go

Well here we are Day 11 of the 30 Day Trial Challenge and also another Not Me Monday. I didn’t get a reprimand for mixing my meme’s by McMama. Over at her blog she started the Not Me Madness. I would never have learned about it if it wasn’t for fellow 30 Day Challenger Marlen. She and the hubby are fighting through our challenge. So without further ado here are some things that I didn’t do last week.

I did not:

• get super frustrated with my oldest daughter last night because she was making up excuses not to go to bed.

• feel really bad that her issue was a giant bug walking around on her ceiling scaring her.

• try to leave work early/on time 4 times and get caught up in something that held me over.

• get frustrated at the number of times I reheated/repurposed the same food last week. I love eating leftovers.
• almost not post a 30 Day Trial Entry yesterday.I’ve got nothing this morning but I hope that you enjoyed this Not Me Entry.

I Most Certainly did not:

1. Blush when I learned that my love of Mangos was fully explained to my Big Brother's wife. Mangos are awesome though.

2. Accidently write "Hos" in a facebook status update when I meant His. It was not made worse becuase I was referencing my beautiful wife in that update.

3. Start changing from Mary to Martha. Read Luke 10:38-42 for context. Not that it happened but it is always good to read your Bible.
4. Impressed that my wife finished a 5K. She is totally not out of my league.
5. Play hookie with my wife and spend the day together down in DC.

6. We definitely did not eat a snooty resturant while in DC. I mean everything is so down to earth there. Plus that would have been off budget and we follow our to the letter.

7. Laugh when my sweet wife asked that the chef change the recipe for a dish becuase she wanted to. We didn't go so this couldn't have happened.

8. Take a few minutes getting ready for work after dropping the kids off at my parents this morning. I am always on time and ready for work.That is enough for today. Dr. God's Man says that you should always have your fruits and Vegetables every day. I would recommend Mangos.

• I did not get up and eat an entire section of graham crackers. I mean a guy training for a triathlon does not snack on sweets late at night.
• I did not laugh at my brides shocked expression when she walked into our dark living room and nearly tripped over our oldest, who was trying to avoid going to bed.
• I did not have a geek attack this week when my wife brought me Mango flavored Italian Ice.
• I certainly do not have mango-addiction. I can give them up any time.
• I did not research Mango butter only to find out it is like Cocoa butter and not Apple butter.
• I was not sad about the above revelation.
• I was not frustrated when I learned that the government was taking a large stake in the company that I work for. I mean we, as a country, would never stand by while our elected officials completely overstep their boundaries. Right?
• I was not sad when my wife and I drove separate cars to work last week.
• I most definitely did not think about quitting my job several times last week. I don't think it is time to move on.
• I also didn't look at jobs in TX because we still have a house there and it would mean a lower cost of living.Well I think I will leave it at that for this week. I am ready for my bed. For those of you on the east coast enjoy the snow. I plan to play in it today.

1. There is no way that I would ever write a one item Not Me Post just so I could say that I did not break my streak. No Not Me...

• I certainly did not start this post Sunday night hoping that I could get higher in the ranks on Monday.
• I did not accidently answer someone elses child when they asked their dad for some candy.
• I was not nervous as I posted to facebook, about my frustrations at work, when a friend reminded me that I have coworkers as facebook friends.
• I did not get freaked out when a coworker agreed to be my accountability partner as I prepare to do a triathlon this year.
• I was not distracted by my wife's beauty at church today. Nope my eyes were fixed on things above. Not things just below my eye level. ;)
• I was certainly not excited to see my new pseudo-daughter today. It is good to have her home.

• I did not almost curse at people at work on Friday. I am always picture of calm.

• I also did not have people cheer for me after raising my voice at someone on Thursday. I wouldn't yell and no one would find that praiseworthy.

• I did not laugh when my daughters sing the daddy song to announce that they are both awake.
• I am not contented from all the mangos from last week. I am also not happy for the mangos ready for this week.
• I am not a mango fanatic. Seriously.Well that is all. Until next Monday. I didn't do it.

• I did not start writing this list while in a meeting.
• I did not speak for more than my alloted time on Sunday.
• I did not reorder my sermon shortly before the service began.
• I did not laugh when my wife had to change a stinky diaper. We don't have a rule that whoever smells it has to deal with it. ;)
• I did not go in search of mangoes 2 nights in a row. Mangoes are my favorite!
• I did not fail in said search on both nights. :(
• I did not go off budget to buy a chipotle burrito over the weekend. I am teaching financial peace university at my church so I would never do that.
• I did not spend time doing electrical work in my house only to learn that all I needed was a new light bulb. I am a nerd so things like this never happen.
• I did not get excited when I could leave early this morning. I love watch my family get ready so we can all leave together.
• I did not stare at my wife through my basement window while she was exercising. I was busy cleaning the ice off of my windows.
• I certainly did not enjoy it. ;)
