So here we are on the last day of January 2018. As I mentioned in my Year of Doing post, I was jumping out beyond my fears. January was cryptocurrency and there were some wins and losses on that front.

I am going to start with the loss to let it be a cautionary tale for everyone. I would call it stupid tax but it was even worse than that as I should have known better. It reminds me of the story early in the book, The Richest Man in Babylon. I ate my seed before it had a chance to produce a harvest. I mentioned using a mining site to mine cryptocurrency but I didn't do enough research first. The site turned out to be a scam. I wasted my 1st litecoin.

Now onto the wins. I have learned a bunch about the block chain. This is a combination of using my coinbase account and a course on Udemy about blockchain appp development. I have also earned a few dollars from the money that I invested on coinbase when the BTC, ETH, and LTC prices were down.

Most importantly I was able to move past the ButWhatAbout barrier of LackOfMoney.
